The Dangers in My Heart Spinoff Manga Twi-Yaba Revealed to Get Anime Adaptation
Exciting news for anime fans! The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Norio Sakurai's manga "The Dangers in My Heart" recently revealed that its Twi-Yaba spinoff manga is also getting its anime adaptation. Fans can look forward to the second season of the main series premiering in January, and the spinoff will be part of the anime event on December 10 in Tokyo.
The Twi-Yaba spinoff manga, named after the first two characters of the Japanese pronunciation of "Twitter," consists of short stories originally published on Sakurai's official X account (formerly Twitter). Some lucky fans will get a sneak peek of the spinoff anime at "The Dangers in My Heart" anime event in December.
The second season of "The Dangers in My Heart" is set to premiere in January on the TV Asahi channel and its 23 affiliates, as well as on BS Asahi. The new season will bring back the familiar cast and staff from the first season, promising a continuation of the story that fans have come to love.
The first season of the anime kicked off on April 1, airing on TV Asahi and its affiliates in the "NUMAnimation" programming block. HIDIVE streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, allowing international fans to join in on the excitement.

For those unfamiliar with the manga's storyline, "The Dangers in My Heart" follows Ichikawa Kyotaro, a high school student who sees himself as the tormented protagonist of a psychological thriller. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that both Kyotaro and Anna have their quirks that make them stand out.
Sakurai initially launched the manga in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in March 2018. The series later moved to Champion Cross and eventually to the Manga Cross website. The ninth compiled volume of the manga is set to be released on November 8, continuing the journey of Kyotaro and Anna's peculiar high school lives.
Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga, allowing English-speaking audiences to enjoy the series as well. The seventh volume of the manga was published on October 3, bringing the English releases up to date with the Japanese publication.
