Aniplex announced amazing news! Megumi Hatakenaka’s Shabake, a historical fantasy novel series, is getting a television anime adaptation. This series will premiere in 2025, bringing its Edo-period charm and intriguing characters to anime fans.
Story Overview
The story of Shabake is set in the Edo period and follows Ichitarō, a young man who is often unwell but has a kind heart. What makes his life special is the mysterious spirit watching over him, adding a supernatural twist to his journey.
