Saudi Film Company Unveils First Trailer for 'Grendizer U' Series. Get ready for intergalactic action as Manga Productions, a Saudi animation powerhouse, drops the official trailer for the highly anticipated "Grendizer U." This upcoming series, based on the iconic Grendizer robot anime by Japanese manga artist Go Nagai, follows the daring Duke Fleed. Faced with the threat of King Vega and his menacing army, Duke decides to take matters into his own hands, piloting the mighty Grendizer to save planet Earth.

According to a recent YouGov survey by Arab News Japan, "Grendizer" holds a special place in the hearts of 56 percent of people aged 40 and over. The nostalgic charm of this classic anime continues to captivate audiences.

Manga Productions revealed a short teaser in August, setting the stage for Mitsuo Fukuda, known for his work on "Future GPX Cyber Formula," to direct the series. The script, promising an engaging storyline, comes from the talented Ichiro Okouchi, renowned for his work on "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion."

The official trailer introduces the voice cast, with Miyu Irino (Haku in "Spirited Away") taking on the role of Duke Fleed and Hiro Shimono (Dabi in "My Hero Academia") as Kouji Kabuto. The original soundtrack, a crucial element of any anime, will be crafted by Kohei Tanaka, co-composer of "One Piece." Japanese rock bands Glay and Band-Maid will lend their talents to the opening and ending songs, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans.

In another exciting development, Manga Productions has joined forces with Microids, a French video-game company, to release the Grendizer video game titled "UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves." Released on Nov. 15, this collaboration marks the first time Microids has ventured into Arabic game production.
