One Piece Shatters Its Own Sales Record to Top 2024 Best-Seller Rankings!
Oricon, Japan's trusted source for sales data, has announced its list of the top-selling manga volumes of 2024. Once again, Eiichiro Oda's One Piece has claimed the top spot, breaking records and solidifying its legendary status in the manga world.
One Piece Volume 108, released on March 4, 2024, emerged as the year’s highest-selling manga volume, with a staggering 1.552 million copies sold. This marks the 14th time One Piece has topped the rankings, extending its own record. Impressively, this is also the second consecutive year that One Piece held the title, following the success of Volume 105, which sold 1.91 million copies in 2023. North American fans can look forward to Volume 108's release on April 24, 2025.
The competition was fierce this year, with Jujutsu Kaisen dominating several spots in the top 10 list. Volume 25 of Jujutsu Kaisen closely followed One Piece Volume 108, selling 1.542 million copies, while One Piece Volume 109 and Volume 110 secured third and sixth places, respectively. Other popular series like Spy x Family and Hunter x Hunter also made it to the top 10, highlighting the diversity of manga fans’ tastes.

Interestingly, this year’s list was dominated by Shueisha’s Jump Comics label, which took all 10 spots. In contrast, last year’s rankings included Kodansha's Tokyo Revengers, but no non-Shueisha titles made the cut this time.
The epic tale of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat crew continues attracting worldwide audiences. Volume 108 centers on their dramatic escape from Egghead Island, facing off against Admiral Kizaru and a mysterious member of the Five Elders, setting the stage for one of the most intense battles in One Piece's history.
