One Piece Anime Drops English-Subtitled Trailer for Egghead Arc’s Comeback!
The Egghead arc of the anime is finally returning after a break. IGN recently released the official English-subtitled trailer for Part 2 of the Egghead arc, building excitement for the anime’s comeback.
When Will One Piece Return?
The One Piece anime will resume airing new episodes in Japan on April 6, 2025. The show will now air on Sundays at 11:15 p.m. JST (10:30 a.m. EDT) on Fuji TV and its affiliated networks. This marks a change from its previous time slot.
For international fans, Crunchyroll will stream the episodes simultaneously in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Latin America. This means fans worldwide won’t have to wait to watch the new episodes!
Other One Piece Releases Coming Soon
In addition to the return of the Egghead arc, Crunchyroll will also be streaming One Piece Specials 14-16. Plus, if you follow the English-dubbed version, episodes 1109-1122 will be available starting March 18 in the same regions.
Why Was the Egghead Arc Paused?
Back in October 2024, Toei Animation announced that the Egghead arc would be put on hold. They explained that this break was necessary to "recharge" and allow for higher-quality animation when the arc resumes.
During this break, the anime has been airing One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga—a condensed, 21-episode version of the Fish-Man Island arc. This version includes improved animation, retouched scenes, and other enhancements to make the episodes look better.
Once One Piece returns, it will have a new airing time. The anime To Be Hero X will take over One Piece’s former time slot (Sundays at 9:30 a.m. JST). This means One Piece will now air later at night in Japan.
With a new trailer, a confirmed return date, and additional One Piece content on the way, the next few months are looking exciting for fans. If you’ve been eagerly waiting for Luffy’s adventures to continue, mark your calendars—April 6 is the day the Egghead arc makes its long-awaited return!
