NEW JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Spin-Off Chapter Announced by Hirohiko Araki
New JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Spin-Off Chapter Featuring Rohan Announced!
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fans have something exciting to look forward to next month! As JoJo Day approaches, an annual event celebrating the franchise, creator Hirohiko Araki has confirmed that a new chapter of the popular spin-off, Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, is on the way. While fans eagerly wait for news on a new anime season after Stone Ocean, the manga continues to thrive. The current storyline, The JOJOLands, is ongoing, but Araki is also bringing back one of the franchise’s most beloved side stories.
New Rohan Chapter: “Bruschetta”
The upcoming 12th chapter of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan is titled "Bruschetta" and is set to release next month. This spin-off series first began in 1997 and follows Kishibe Rohan, the eccentric manga artist from Diamond Is Unbreakable. Unlike the main JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series, Rohan’s stories focus on mysterious, supernatural events that he encounters while traveling the world in search of inspiration for his manga. While Rohan possesses a Stand ability, Heaven’s Door, many of his adventures revolve around eerie and psychological horror elements rather than intense battles.
Rohan’s Live-Action Movie
Rohan isn’t just making a return in the manga—he’s also starring in a new live-action movie! Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan: At a Confessional will premiere in Japanese theaters on May 23, 2025. The film adapts one of Rohan’s spookiest stories, where he listens to a chilling ghost story from a man who has been cursed. Interestingly, this story has already been adapted into both the anime and manga versions of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan. Fans who want to check out the anime adaptation can find it streaming on Netflix.
Rohan’s Role in The JOJOLands
Aside from his spin-off series, Rohan has also made a recent appearance in The JOJOLands, the latest JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga arc. In this story, new protagonists Jodio and Dragona Joestar attempt to steal a priceless diamond—only to discover that it belongs to none other than Kishibe Rohan himself! Unlike many past conflicts in the JoJo universe, this encounter ends on a peaceful note, with Rohan willingly giving up the diamond to the Joestar siblings.
Fans are eagerly awaiting JoJo Day next month, where new announcements about the franchise’s future are expected. With the manga going strong and Rohan’s return in multiple forms, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure continues to thrive. Will we finally get news about the next anime adaptation? Stay tuned!
