New Demon Lord 2099 Anime Video Reveals Cast for Akihabara Arc!
The Demon Lord 2099 anime, based on the light novel series by Daigo Murasaki and Kureta, has unveiled exciting updates for fans. On Sunday, the staff released a new promotional video and key visual for the anime’s Akihabara Arc, set to begin with episode 8 on November 30. Along with the video, new cast members were announced, bringing fresh voices to the series.

For international audiences, Demon Lord 2099 is being streamed on Crunchyroll in English-speaking, Latin American, and European countries. Additionally, it has an English dub available for viewers to enjoy.
Demon Lord 2099 Overview
The story follows Demon Lord Veltol, voiced by Satoshi Hino, who makes a dramatic return to the modern world in the year 2099. The series is set in Shinjuku, a massive city-state that seems to be at the peak of human progress but hides dark secrets underneath. To reclaim control of this world and shape the future, Veltol must face powerful enemies and navigate the intricacies of his new world. Miku Itō voices Machina, a key character in the series.

The opening theme song, “Hollow,” is performed by Shiyui, and the ending theme song, “Spira,” is by sekai.
The English version of the light novels is being published by Yen Press. The story takes place in the year 2099, when the Demon Lord Veltol returns to Shinjuku—a city full of both dazzling prosperity and hidden darkness. To reshape the future, Veltol must rise to power once again.
