Muse Asia is bringing “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Coleus' Dream" to your screens this Tuesday
Muse Asia has some exciting news for the fans—on Tuesday, they're premiering the three-episode special "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Coleus' Dream" at 11:30 p.m. GMT +8. These episodes originally aired in Japan back in November 2022.
Everything You Need To Know About Coleus’ Dream OVA
"Coleus' Dream" originates from a text story included in a bonus booklet with the Blu-ray Disc release of the second season. It plays out an "epic spectacle story" between the first two television seasons, delving into the intrigue surrounding the Coleus Kingdom.
Speaking of "Scarlet Bond," the anime film hit Japanese theaters on November 25 last year. Muse Asia brought it to Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Now, let's rewind a bit. The original "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" story, created by Fuse, started on the "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" website in 2013 and ran until 2016. The series, published by Micro Magazine since 2014, has garnered over 400 million page views. The novels entered their final arc with the 18th volume in March 2021, and Fuse hinted at possible side stories after concluding the series at the 22nd volume. Yen Press publishes the English version.
The anime journey began in October 2018 with the first television adaptation of Taiki Kawakami's manga. Muse Asia streamed it as it aired in Japan.
Fast forward to the second season's first cours premiering in January 2021 and the subsequent nine-month run of the second cours starting in July 2021. The franchise kept the anime marathon going strong with "The Slime Diaries," a spinoff manga adaptation, airing in April 2021. Muse Asia streamed both parts of the second season, and there's good news—the anime is gearing up for a third season.
Cast
The anime is in good hands with Atsushi Nakayama directing, Toshizo Nemoto handling series composition, and Ryōma Ebata on character design. Takahiro Kishida manages monster design, Kenichiro Tomiyasu contributes to concept art, and Studio Naya creates stunning backgrounds.
