Hamachi Yamada Unveils Epic New Manga: A Must-Read Sensation!
The August 6 issue of Futabasha's Manga Action magazine has unveiled that Hamachi Yamada, the creative mind behind the acclaimed series Crescent Moon Marching, will be launching a brand-new manga series titled Doro no Kuni (Mud Country) in the magazine's next issue on September 3. This announcement has manga fans buzzing with anticipation.
Doro no Kuni promises to be a captivating addition to Yamada's portfolio, featuring a distinctive fantasy narrative centered around a queen who has stolen "humanity." This intriguing premise suggests a blend of fantasy and psychological themes that will likely offer a fresh perspective in the genre.
In addition to this new series, Yamada's recent work includes a one-shot manga titled Yoru no Kemono (Beast of the Night), which was published in November. This one-shot hints at Yamada’s continued exploration of rich, imaginative storytelling.
Yamada first made waves with her manga Crescent Moon Marching (Mikazuki March), which debuted in Manga Action in 2020. The series received a warm reception, culminating in the release of its sixth and final compiled volume in January 2022. For English-speaking readers, Azuki has licensed and is digitally publishing Crescent Moon Marching, making it accessible to a global audience.
With Doro no Kuni, Hamachi Yamada continues to push the boundaries of manga storytelling, and fans can look forward to another enthralling journey starting next month.
