Duel Masters LOST Manga Makes Its Anime Debut
A new television anime titled "Duel Masters LOST Tsuioku no Suishō'' is set to debut this fall, based on Shigenobu Matsumoto and Yō Kanebayashi's manga as part of the Duel Masters LOST project. The anime will be produced by J.C. Staff, and an official website has recently opened, revealing a trailer, visual, and returning cast from the previous "Duel Masters Win '' anime.
The manga, which launched on the Weekly CoroCoro Comic website on February 1, presents an "alternate time story" that progresses alongside the events of "Duel Masters Win." It promises to offer fans a fresh perspective on the familiar universe of Duel Masters.
Additionally, a special movie titled "Ōdō-hen" (Royal Road Arc) by J.C. Staff is set to premiere during the live broadcast of the Duel Masters National Tournament 2023 on March 31, before airing in April. The movie will feature a theme song titled "Dōka," performed by YurryCanon's project Tsukuyomi.
Duel Masters Lost Trailer and Plot
The story follows 16-year-old Win Kirifuda, the protagonist of "Duel Masters Win," who finds himself in a world where he has lost everything. As he battles to regain what he has lost, viewers will explore a never-before-seen world filled with mystery and adventure.
The Duel Masters LOST project also includes the "Abyss Revolution Gaiden: Death Bell Crystal" card pack, which ties into the world of "LOST" and invites players into a mysterious battle. Released in Japan on February 17, the card pack adds an extra layer of intrigue to the franchise.
The "Duel Masters Win" anime, which premiered in September 2022, has been well-received, with Matsumoto also launching a manga adaptation in Monthly Coro Coro Comics a month before the anime's debut. The ongoing success of the franchise led to the launch of "Duel Masters Win: Complex Duel-hen" in January.
In addition to "Duel Masters Win," the franchise has seen several other successful anime series, including "Duel Masters King," "Duel Masters King!," and "Duel Masters King Max." These series continue the story introduced in the original "Duel Masters" anime that premiered in April 2017, providing fans with a continuous and engaging narrative experience.
In a nutshell, manga fans can’t wait to see Duel Masters LOST in action.
