The official website of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) has announced that the anime's fourth and final cour is on its way. The announcement came right after the broadcast of the final episode of Cour 3 on December 29, 2024.

This final part of the anime, titled Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, will bring the epic TYBW arc to a thrilling conclusion. To hype up fans, the announcement included a new promotional video (PV) and a striking visual, both of which hint at intense battles and emotional moments to come.

Cour 3 of Bleach: TYBW aired from October 5, 2024, to December 28, 2024. It featured Six Lounge performing the opening theme song, “Without Any Word,” and Suisoh delivering the ending theme, “Monochrome.” These songs perfectly complemented the intense and emotional tone of the arc.

One interesting behind-the-scenes detail was recently revealed by the anime's chief director, Tomohisa Taguchi. In an interview, he mentioned that the production team took photos of the staff to help animate particularly complex scenes.
