Attack on Titan Isn’t Finished Yet - Fans Are Losing It
Even though Attack on Titan wrapped up its anime in 2023 and dropped its latest film in 2024, it turns out the franchise isn’t finished just yet. Yes, the manga officially ended in 2021, and fans have watched the epic story of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin come to a dramatic close—but the Attack on Titan universe still has more in store.
During the Attack on Titan – The Official Concert: Beyond the Walls World Tour in Los Angeles, producer Tetsuya Kinoshita confirmed that the story isn’t entirely done. In fact, there are more films, concerts, and game collaborations already in the works. While he didn’t reveal exactly what these new projects will look like, his announcement was clear: Attack on Titan will continue in new forms.
“We plan to continue creating films like ‘Last Attack’, concerts like this one, and various game collaborations moving forward,” Kinoshita said.
This means fans can likely expect more content featuring their favorite characters—or perhaps spin-offs that dive deeper into the world beyond what we’ve already seen.
What is Attack on Titan?
Created by Hajime Isayama, Attack on Titan is a massively popular Japanese manga and anime series. It first launched in 2009 as a manga and aired as an anime in 2013. The story follows Eren Yeager, a boy who lives on Paradis Island, a place surrounded by giant walls built to protect humanity from massive human-eating creatures known as Titans.
After a sudden attack by powerful new Titans, Eren vows to destroy every last one of them. But as the story unfolds, we discover that there’s much more behind the Titans, the walls, and even Eren himself. The world expands to reveal a hidden history, a divided civilization, and a dangerous power called The Rumbling, which Eren eventually unleashes.
Even though the original story has ended, Attack on Titan continues to evolve. With new movies, live concerts, and video games on the way, the franchise is far from done. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the series, now’s a great time to revisit the world of Titans.
